AAU Launches its Annual Award for Excellence in Scientific Research for All Palestinian Universities Researchers

Arab American University announce launching its annual Award for excellence in Scientific Research for Palestinian universities researchers for the year 2017. The award comes to encourages the university’s pioneer role of supporting scientific research in Palestine, improve scientific researches quality for faculty members and researchers from Palestinian universities, support genuine scientific researches and honoring researchers’ for their scientific and searching efforts that is published or approved to be in prestigious scientific journals with outstanding reputation.

In the academic year 2016/2017, the Arab American University has allocated the sum of JD 90,000 to promote on campus research in all areas. The maximum limit for internal scientific research grants is JD 7000. The deadline for scientific research grant applications for this semester is scheduled for 12/12/2016.

All AAU faculty members are eligible to apply for this grant using the attached electronic application form (MS word: Don’t convert it to PDF, please).

Palestine Engineers Association PEA and in partnership with the Federation of Arab Engineers organize the 1st international conference on climate change, in 2017 that will take place in Al Bireh- Palestine. This international event comes within the framework of the PEA plan towards the development of the engineering work in the interesting themes locally and internationally, through the organization of international conferences dealing with the most prominent issues and challenges facing the Palestinian society.

As it’s the first international event on climate change in Palestine; it is expected to acquire a wide attention from the public and international institutions in Palestine and neighboring Arab countries as well as all over the world.

Report rating Arab influence coefficient, University Research Journal ranked the highest impactor

Arab American University research journal rated first in new report for Arab Impact Factor to classify important magazines published in Arabic around the world, the report showed the university magazine on the ratio 2.93, highest rating among dozens of Arab scientific journals.

"Arab Impact Factor" provides quantitative and qualitative assessment for the quality and sedate of Arab magazines specialized in all knowledge areas. This impact measures scientific journals importance within its area of research specialization, and reflects new research referencing to previously published researches in the magazine and cited. Thus it’s the magazine with highest and most dependent impact factor in the specialist scientific community.
