Arab American University Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences honored its outstanding students in 2016/2017 first academic semester, in a party attended by Dean of both Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences and Faculty of Nursing Dr. Mohammad Asia, heads of faculty departments, faculty members and students families.

After Palestinian National Anthem Dr. Asia opened the ceremony, which was presented by Mr. Sari Abu Ras. In his speech Asia congratulated outstanding students and college family on this achievement. He also praised families’ role, which is the basic block that brought their children to this level of excellence. "The faculty considered supporting excellence to spread competition spirit between students and honor outstanding ones each year. We in this celebration aims to encourage and support students and motivate the rest of them" he said.

Arab American University celebrated its second cohort of students in the joint MBA program with Indiana University in Pennsylvania graduation, in a ceremony organized at AAUP headquarter in Ramallah under the auspices of its Trustees Board President Dr. Mohammed Shtayeh.

The ceremony attended by the University Administrative Board Chairman Dr. Yousef Asfour, University President Dr. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri, Indiana University Eberly College of Business and Information Technology Dean Dr. Robert Camp, coordinator of the joint MBA program with Arab American University Dr. Prachan Bahradawj, Academic Chancellor of Directors Board and founder President Dr. Waleed Deeb, Mr. Walid Afifi member of Trustees board and Directors board members Ms. Sabah Asfour, Mr. Ghalib Hafi, Mr. Osaid Asfour, Professor Bahaa Asfour and Mr. Bassam Dalbh.

Arab American University-Jenin hosted, Lori Hunter; the British Political Consul of the Consulate General in Jerusalem, Mr. Declan Johnson; the Irish Deputy Consul General, within the Comparative Studies in the Negotiation Processes and Peace Building Course.

Dr. Dalal Erekat, the instructor of Conflict Resolution and Development course, spoke about the negotiation elements and the basics of the successful negotiations in detail. She said that the lecture course aims to inform students about the British and Irish official viewpoints as essential parties in the negotiation processes.

The two guests, in turn, presented their interventions as a formal diplomatic viewpoint by providing a detailed explanation about the Irish experience from an academic perspective.
