The University Journal of Research Ranked #1 in Arab Impact Factor for the Year 2018

Arab American University Journal of Research obtained first place in the classification of the Arab impact factor for the year 2018, where it obtained an impact factor of 3.07, which is a great achievement for scientific research in the university in particular and Palestine in general.

The Arab Impact Factor provides a quantitative and qualitative assessment of the quality and reliability of specialized Arabic journals in all fields of knowledge. This impact is a measure of the importance of scientific journals within their field of research.

It also reflects the extent of new research referring to previously published research in the journal and cites it. The Journal of Higher Impact Factor is therefore more important and more reliable in the specialized scientific community.

The Kermalak project team won first place in the creativity competition which was held at Hassib Al-Sabbagh Center for Information Technology Excellence / Arab American University,

Where the qualified team was given $ 5,000 to help launch their new project. Hassib Al Sabbagh Center with the partnership of Ibdaa Co. have finished 12 training course, the trainings were finished by presenting a series of pilot projects, which were evaluated by a committee of judges: Eng. Rasem Sawan, Director of Ibdaa Co. Dr. Mohamed Mari, Lecturer at Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, Eng. The two researchers from Biology & Biotechnology department at Arab American University, Dr. Hilal Zeid and Dr. Saba Shank, recently won three international research invitations in partnership with European researchers from Germany and France, funded by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Palestine, And the French consulate within Al-Maqdesi project.

Regarding research projects Dr. Helal Zeid, from AAUP in partnership with Dr. Cedric Lahosin from University of Lille in France, received a scholarship from the French Consulate within Al-Maqdesi project with an amount of 20 thousand Euros for the research entitled "Determining the mechanism of action and the targeted proteins for the chemicals extracted from Basil plant in the treatment of diabetes "
