Digital Marketing

Overview

Arab American University follows the modern and most recent teaching styles as it keens to graduate a new distinguish generation who is capable to follow up the development in the labor market. And since the world wide web controls all sectors, AAUP started the Digital Marketing program to provide students with the academic experience supported by the practical and technical aspects. This program opens opportunities of remotely working, and students will be able to follow up the development in this field and to face the future market challenges.

Program Vision

The digital marketing program is concerned with developing the performance and implementation of the marketing function of (goods and services) products, relying on traditional marketing concepts and methods as well as modern computer applications. Nowadays the world is witnessing development in the field of electronic marketing where this program comes to provide students with the foundations and modern marketing concepts and develop their capabilities in planning marketing programs and raise marketing awareness among officials and decision-makers in public and private sector institutions.

Goals

  1. Provide the students with knowledge of current digital marketing tools and techniques.
  2. Provide the student with analytical skills to utilize digital marketing metrics and technological applications to enhance sales and marketing efforts.
  3. Enable the student to propose solutions to complex marketing problems by applying critical thinking skills.
  4. Enable the student to assess opportunities to increase revenues and improve organizational performance through digital marketing initiatives.
  5. Strengthen the student’s understanding of the impact of digital marketing on organizational strategy and success.
  6. Develop the student’s ability to behave in an ethical manner that is based on professional marketing standards and practices and is in the best interest of the organization and its customers.
  7. Develop the student’s understanding of the role of marketing in an organization and the alignment of marketing efforts with those of other strategic initiatives.
