The office of the Arab American University Vice President for Planning, Development, and Quality held an academic workshop for faculty members at the university campus in Ramallah. The workshop aimed to inform them of the most important directions and strategies followed by the university to improve the academic process and raise the level of education quality.
Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Muayad Abusaa, Vice President for Medical Faculties Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Asia, Dean of Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Awad, and Director of the E-Learning Center at the University, Dr. Ahmad Ewais, gave lectures.
The workshop tackled several topics, most notably modern learning strategies, scientific research, and the most important indicators that reflect the progress of scientific research at the university, in addition to the role of scientific research in promoting the international classification of the university, and introducing participants to the university's systems and instructions, especially with regard to promotion instructions, scientific research, and electronic services that facilitate the work of academics in the university, especially the e-learning platform and other educational resources.
For his part, Dr. Adli Saleh, the Advisor of the University Board of Directors for Planning and Development, explained that this type of workshops targets members of the academic and administrative bodies, with the aim of raising the level of staff performance to serve the educational process, in line with the university's philosophy of focusing on students as a primary focus of the educational process and enhancing students' knowledge, life skills, leadership, scientific and research orientations, and the development of learning, teaching, and scientific research strategies among academics at the university in order to achieve this philosophy.
