The Public Relations Department at the Arab American University has held a meeting with the heads of the guidance departments in the directorates of education in Jenin, Qabatiya, and Tubas, during which they discussed the formula for organizing orientation days for high school students for the year 2024 in the schools affiliated with the directorates and guiding them on how to choose a specialization.
The meeting was attended by Activities Officer in the Public Relations Department, Ms. Samah Dawahda, the Media Officer in Public Relations, Mr. Raed Abu Baker, the Head of the Guidance Department in the Directorate of Education in Jenin, Mr. Saleh Naamneh, the Head of the Guidance Department in the Directorate of Education in Tubas, Mr. Ahmed. Al Bzour, and the Head of the Guidance Department at the Directorate of Education in Qabatiya, Ms. Areej Nuirat.
Ms. Samah Dawahdeh indicated that this meeting took place to discuss the way for the Arab American University delegation’s visit, in the near future, to schools affiliated with the three directorates with the aim of introducing high school students and guiding them on choosing a major and what is suitable for the Palestinian, regional and international labor market, in addition to the mechanism for benefiting from scholarships Provided by the Arab American University. The students are to be introduced to the specializations offered at the University and the services it provides to students and the local community.
