The Chairman of board of Directors at Arab American University Dr. Yousef Asfour, and the President of the University Prof. Ali Zidan Abu Zuhri welcomed the Mayor Dr. Ahmed Atash of Eschshahis Tebibashi Turkey and the Turkish delegation, where they were introduced to the university and discussed the prospects for future cooperation with educational institutions in the Turkish city.
With the attendance of the Academic Advisor Prof. Walid Dieb, and members of the Board of Directors of the University, in addition to the Vice-Presidents, and the deans of the faculties.
Dr. Yousif Asfour, welcomed the delegation and noted that he recently visited the city of Eschshahis Tebibashi and visited its prestigious Turkish universities. Dr. Yousef during his visit to Eschshahis Tebibashi he invited its Mayor to come and visit Palestine and visit the Arab American University, to enhance and build future cooperation with educational institutions in the Turkish city, especially Turkish universities.
The President of the University presented an overall outlook about the university, its establishment and the most prominent academic programs offered by the university in the undergraduate and graduate studies. He pointed out that the university has recently developed the first MBA degree in Palestine, assuring the academic cooperation with Arab and international universities, Turkish universities, expressing the University's readiness to open the horizons of cooperation with the universities located in the city of Eschshahis Tebibashi.
The mayor of Eschshahis Tebibashi, Dr. Ahmed Atash, expressed his great admiration for Arab American University. He also expressed his pleasure to visit Palestine, informing the need to open the horizons of cooperation between the Turkish universities with Arab American University. He also assured the readiness of the municipality to provide support in any field noting the importance of graduating generations to build the society.
During the visit, the guests were presented with a documentary film about Arab American University. The delegation also took a tour around faculties, scientific laboratories and dental clinics. The delegation expressed its admiration for the high level reached by Arab American University.
