The Arab American University delegation was headed by Professor Dr Ayman Yousef, professor of Political Science at the Master's program for Conflict Resolution and Development, and Dr. Mufid Qassoum, and the representatives of students studying in this program Rula Shahwan, Ruba Al-Ghoul, Sari Abdullah and Nibal Al-‘Arda.

52 of the employees from various departments in the university had completed three courses and they are: Introduction to Quality Management System 2008:9001; Writing Professional Reports, and Connection & Communication.

The President of the university Prof. Dr. Abu Zuhri, stressed on the importance of these courses in developing the administrative staff, and keep pace with the development and delivery of services to students and to the public, pointing out that the university has always sought to develop its employees through such courses.

Both sides discussed ways of cooperation between the Arab American University and the University of Paris VIII to establish a network of researchers from the two universities.  They also discussed the possibility of holding the Fourth International Conference for the Digital Heritage on the Arab American University campus in May of the next year, and to be held in collaboration with the University of Paris VIII, and in partnership with the Tunisian National School of Design.

The Chairman of Board of Directors of the Arab American University Dr. Yousef Asfour inspected the currently implemented development projects in the university and reassured the progress of work.

During his inspection tour Dr. Asfour was accompanied by the University President Professor Dr. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri, the Board of Directors' member Mr. Ghaleb Al- Hafi and the President Assistant for Administration and Financial Affairs Mr. Faleh Abu Arra.
