Chairman of the Board of Directors

The University delegation was headed by the founding Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Yousef Asfour, the Acting President of the University, Dr. Bara Asfour, the General Manager of the University Company, Mr. Faleh Abu Arra, the Vice President of the University for the Ramallah Campus, Professor Dr. Mohammad Asia, and a number of members of the University's Board of Directors.

Dr. Yousef Asfour stressed the importance and status of Al-Quds University, noting that it is a leading force in the academic and research fields. He added: "We at the Arab American University seek to enhance cooperation with Al-Quds University through joint programs and partnerships with experts and researchers to produce joint scientific research. We also aim to achieve the utmost benefit from the advanced laboratories and equipment at both universities."

During the meeting, Minister Barham welcomed the University delegation, and praised the achievements made by the University. He also praised the University’s constant endeavors to advance higher education in Palestine and continuously develop its academic programs for the sake of meeting the ambitions and aspirations of the Palestinian youth who yearn for modern sciences.
