Prof. Dr. Asia launched the ceremony with a speech where he congratulated the // honored students and the two faculties members, pointing that both the faculties decided to support the excellence and spread competition spirit among students, honor outstanding students annually. Explaining, the purpose of this celebration is to encourage students, support them and motivate the rest of the faculty students.

Dean of Faculties of Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences Prof. Dr. Mohamed Asia, said he recently started preparing self-evaluation report for the Faculty of Nursing at university to submit it to Scientific Association of Nursing Colleges, then the association supervisors will come for the last check and announce the accreditation.

Nursing Directors at Palestinian hospitals and First aid centers, Representatives of all nursing faculties at Palestinian Universities and a number of academic staff at AAUP Faculty of Nursing and Medical Careers, all attended the conference.

Pre conference, Professor Watson met Arab American University President Dr. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri and his Assistant in Financial and Administrative Affairs Mr. Faleh Abu Arra, both of them honored her for her humanitarian efforts in Nursing.
