Researcher Abdullah Hamarsheh, a student in the Master’s program of Criminal Science, defended his thesis titled: “The Crime of Seizing Influence in Palestinian Legislation in Light of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (a Comparative Study).”

This study aimed to reveal the crime of seizing the influence as a corruption crime, and to enrich the Palestinian legal library with a new topic and an advanced track of research in this field, as this is considered the first Palestinian thesis of its kind that dealt with this dangerous crime.

This thesis was supervised by Dr. Abdullah Mahmoud, Dr. Nour Adas, and Dr. Hekmat Amarna. The committee recommended that the thesis be approved and published due to the importance of its subject so that it would receive the highest academic degree at this stage.
