The President of Arab American University, Prof. Dr. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri, honored the students from the Faculty of Sport Science whom represented the Palestinian national football team in a number of international, continental and regional championships.

The ceremony was attended by the vice presidents of the university, the Dean of Student Affairs and Dean of the Faculty of Sport Sciences, the student Khalid Azzam was honored who is the goalie of the Palestine football team who participated in the Asian Cup qualifiers and World Cup qualifiers, and the student Saja Ibrahim was also honored a player in the Olympic Palestinian team, which will participate with the Palestine team qualifiers for the next Olympics in Tokyo, and the student Ali Adawi the first place player in the Palestine team and Olympics, who participated in the Asian Club Championship with the Jerusalem Crescent team.
During the ceremony, the university president congratulated the students of the Faculty of Sport Science in general and the honored students in particular. He said: "Arab American University is a university of innovators and distinguished students in various programs and fields because it supports and motivates its students for creativity. He also praised the students of the Faculty of Sport Sciences who represented the Palestine team in the continental and international championships, as he assured that the university administration is proud of them and their great contribution of their achievements in addition to their high morals and their spirit of competition and reflecting a civilized and good image of Palestine, its athletes and its people.
The honored team thanked the University and the faculty of Sport Sciences for this honor, assuring that the university and the faculty provides them with all forms of support to continue development to their skills and enhances them in addition to the continuous encouragement to participate in local and international competitions.
