The meeting that was moderated by Dr. Saba’ Jarrar- a Lecturer in the Faculty included some main topics about what is the positive psychology, its topics, branches and standards, in addition to the topic of positive psychology and the physical activity as part of the physical activities.

Students from the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Faculty members of the faculty and some other faculty members from other Palestinian universities were interested to attend the meeting.

Dr. Jarrar represented her scientific paper that focused on some aspects including the preventive curative role in facing the diseases of the age especially related to the occasion of the pink month and the sports’ role in achieving sustainable development. She emphasized on the importance of changing the regular daily lifestyle by reorganizing and regulating the physical activity and diet especially for women. In addition Dr. Jarrar talked about the role of sports in supporting the efficiency of the immune system and how it works.

The celebration was under the auspices of the President of the State of Palestine, His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas "Abu Mazen" and attended by Dr. Moayad Abu Saa- the VP for Academic Affairs representing Prof. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri- the University President, Prof. Mohammad Asia- the VP for the Medical Schools Affairs, General Akram Rjoub- the Governor of Jenin, representatives and leaders from the security services of Jenin, members of the Academic and Administrative staff, representatives of official and private organizations and a great number of parents and family of graduates.
