The Faculty of Medicine in Arab American University announced the names of five medical students who won PAMA scholarship that was provided by the Palestinian American Medical Association “PAMA”

The ceremony of announcement was attended by Dr. Imad Dwaikat- the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine in AAUP, Dr. Muath Nuirat- PAMA Representative in Palestine, some representatives from the Palestinian Universities, some Faculty members and the medical students.

Aiming to monitor the level of accomplishment that the hospital has reached, Mr. Akram Rjoub- Jenin Governor, Prof. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri- the University President and the accompanied delegation of the vice presidents, the assistants to president, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Dr. Salem Abu Khayzran- the Head of the Board of Directors of Istishari Arab Hospital went in an inspection tour to Ibn Sina Specialized Hospital “the educational hospital for the Faculty of Medicine in Arab American University”.

Dr. Imad Dwaikat has assumed his duties as the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine in Arab American University

Dr. Dwaikat is one of the well-known doctors in Palestine. He got his BA in Medicine from Baghdad University, and holds the Jordanian and Palestinian Board of Pediatrics, specialized in Pediatric, Metabolism and Genetic Diseases in Kids from Toronto, Canada, Kids Hospital. He also worked as a pediatrician at Al Makassed Hospital in Jerusalem and headed the metabolism unit there.
