The Arab American University hosted the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Sulaiman Zuhairi in a lecture organized by the Assistant President Office for Community Affairs, that aimed students from Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology.

The lecture was opened by Dr. Iyad Dalbeh, the Assistant President for Community Affairs. He said that the university hosts experts and specialists to transfer their practical experiences to the students in order to benefit from them in practical life.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Sulaiman Zuhairi said Arab American University has joined the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), where the university will benefit in terms of scientific research training, both academically and students.
He also referred to the Palestinian agreements relating to the telecommunications and information technology sector, pointing out the Palestinian shares of frequencies. He pointed out the main obstacles facing the ministry in implementing the international agreements that give Palestine the right to enjoy technological means. Pointing out that the main obstacles is the non-application of the third generation in the Gaza Strip.
At the end of the lecture, the guest listened to the students' questions and inquiries.
