Part of signing the cooperation agreement

The University and the Palestinian Monetary Authority signed a joint cooperation agreement in scientific research specialized in economics, business and financial sciences, exchanging experiences and enhancing students’ skills, organizing seminars and awareness conferences in many areas of common interest.

The agreement was signed in Arab American University Ramallah campus The Governor of Monetary Authority, H.E Mr. Azzam Shawa, and President of the University, Prof. Ali Zidan Abu Zuhri, attended by the Academic Advisor Prof. Walid Dib, VP of Administration and Financial Affairs Mr. Faleh Abu Ara; VP of International Relations Dr. Dalal Erekat, VP of Planning and Development Affairs Dr. Moaz Sabha, Dean of Scientific Research Dr. Mahmoud Manasra, and from the Monetary Authority the Public Relations Manager Mrs. Irene Saadeh.

Vice President of International Relations Dr. Dalal Erekat met with Ms. Karuna Osman, international marketing consultant from the famous University of Waterloo in Ramallah. Ms. Osman also represented several Canadian universities during her visit to Palestine, as Wilfred Laurier University, Trent University and University of New Brunswick.

During the meeting Dr. Erekat gave a presentation about the university and its unique new academic programs offered by the university. She also discussed several aspects of cooperation, including student exchange between the two universities, and the possibility of academic partnership in different programs

The representative of the Australian Consulate in Palestine, Marsha Pius, visited Arab American University in Ramallah Campus to discuss ways of cooperation with the university and its academic programs.

The Chairman of Boards of Directors Dr. Yousif Asfour, and Vice-President of International Relations at Dr. Dalal Erekat, and Board Member Mr. Bahaa Asfour welcomed the delegation and discussed with them the ways of academic cooperation in regarding student exchanges, exchange of faculty members and administration staff, as well as finding new academic programs that will enhance the change in the institutions of the Palestinian society through education, in alliance with the university’s vision to cooperate with international universities to create educational and research partnerships.
