Defense of a Doctoral Dissertation by Researcher Ahlam Abu Jami’ in the Educational Administration Program

Researcher Ahlam Muhammad Abu Jame’, a student in the doctoral program in Educational Administration, has defended her dissertation titled: “Organizational Culture in Universities within the Green Line and its Relationship to Academic Freedom and Excellence in Performance As Perceived by Arab Faculty Members: a Proposed Perception.”

The researcher used the descriptive approach (quantitative and qualitative) / correlational method, in the academic year 2023/2024 on a random sample of 103 lecturers. She collected data using a questionnaire and conducted interviews with 10 lecturers working in different universities.

Defense of a Master’s Thesis by Lana Hashash in the Intensive Care Nursing Program

Researcher Lana Nimer Hashash, a student in the master’s program in Intensive Care Nursing, has defended her thesis titled Nurses Perceptions of the Presence of Patients Families during Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in Intensive Care Departments in Palestinian Hospitals: A Mixed Method Study”.

This study focused on Palestinian intensive care nurses' perceptions of family presence during the cardiopulmonary resuscitation process, and aimed to evaluate Palestinian intensive care nurses' perceptions regarding the presence of patients' families during cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Researcher Rania Khaled Bannoura, a student in the master’s program in Neonatal Nursing, has defended her thesis titled The Effectiveness of Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) On Premature and Low Birth Weight Infants in the NICUs at Caritas Baby Hospital and Saint Joseph Hospital”.

This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of kangaroo mother care on premature and low birth weight infants in the neonatal intensive care unit of Caritas Baby Hospital and Holy Family Hospital in the West Bank, Palestine.

The sample included 52 premature infants from Caritas Baby Hospital and Holy Family Hospital in the West Bank. The study results revealed the potential advantages of kangaroo care in promoting physiological well-being and stabilizing vital signs in neonates, thus endorsing its value as an adjunctive care procedure in neonatal health care settings.
