AAUP Starts the Preparations for Students to Participate in a Training Course in a German University

The Policy and Conflict Resolution Studies Center in Arab American University started the preparations for selecting 9 students to participate in a training course about Reconciliation and Conflict Resolution that will be organized in Friedrich-Schiller-Universität (Jena) for a week, from 27 Feb 2022 until 4 March 2022.

This training is part of the Center’s project in “enhancing the national research capabilities in the reconciliation and conflict resolution field” that is funded by the EU. This project is also part of the vision of the center that was established on 2017 to be the first of its kind in the Arab region that enhances and supports the researches and studies in the conflict resolution and reconciliation, and the intercultural communication. The center keens to provide the academic scientific knowledge and practical skills in the mentioned fields.

AAUP Participates in a Training Visit to Germany among TVETCQ Project

Arab American University along with other Palestinian universities and Ministries took part in the training visit to Germany among the TVETCQ project which is one of Erasmus projects funded by the EU.

AAUP was represented by Dr. Moayad Abu Saa- the VP for Academic Affairs, Dr. Amjad Ratrout- the Coordinator for TVETCQ in AAUP and Dr. Rasmyeh Anabtawi- the Faculty Member in the Faculty of Nursing.

The training was for the Palestinian universities and ministries which included: Arab American University, Al Quds University, the University College of Applied Sciences – Gaza, Palestine Polytechnic University, An Najah National University, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Labor.
