Chairman of the University Directors Board Dr. Yousef Asfour, University President Prof. Dr. Ali Zidan Abu Zuhri, Board of Directors’ Academic Advisor and the University Founding President Dr. Waleed Deeb, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies Dr. Abdulrahman Abu Lebda, University VP for International Affairs Dr. Dalal Erekat, Director of the Policy and Conflict Resolution Studies Center Mrs. Rola Shahwan, and members of the Center Board of Directors; Prof. Dr. Ayman Yousef, Dr. Nidal Al-Jayousi and Dr. Iyad Yacoub, all welcomed Mr. Moratinos and Dr. Mansour.

The events started with the exhibition opening in the presence of the University VP for Planning and Development Affairs Dr. Osama Salama, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology Dr. Mohammad Hamarsha, Head of the Multimedia Department Dr. Mohammad Maree, heads of the faculty’s departments and some academic and administrative faculty members.

Professor E’mour welcomed the guest and introduced them to the university, its objectives and academic undergraduate, master and doctorate programs. He mentioned its annual scholarships to the students. Saying, Arab American University, includes about 11,000 students from various Palestinian cities and the 1948 Palestinian territories, philosophy is to provide distinguished and modern education services to graduate capable students to be outstanding and creative in the local, regional and international labor market.

The thesis is the first one in the country where it discussed arbitration with the mandate of reconciliation at all stages of the arbitration process. Researcher Hawamda mentioned the limits and controls of the arbitrator authorized reconciliation authority and this type’s specificity, what are the related problems to the arbitration process due to the lack of rules, comparing the three legislations; Palestinian, Jordanian and Egyptian, and the use of some legal texts.
