The developments of the concept of resolving the conflict and its repercussions on the Palestinian situation were discussed in the forum as well as the relationship between conflict and various aspects such as climate, women, human rights, water and natural resources, and others.

Representatives from different departments at the University of Granada and representatives from the German Friedrich Schiller University participated in the forum.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the university by Board of Directors’ Academic Advisor, the Founding President of the University, Prof. Dr. Waleed Deeb, accompanied by Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Eng. Bara Asfour, and the Dean of the Faculty of Modern Media at the university, Dr. Hanadi Dwaikat. On behalf of the Higher Institute for Journalism, Communication, and International Relations, the agreement was signed by the president, Dr. Guillaume Joban Accompanied by his assistant, Dr. Noha Rishmawi.

Mr. Mohammad Sabaneh, vice dean of the faculty of modern sciences, indicated that AAUP is preparing a variety of activities for its students so they can have the needed skills. He also alluded that the display of the play is the first step in this long path.

The play is a 55 minutes’ monodrama (one actor), that shows the main daily issues that Palestinian citizens suffer from and highlights the life of those who live in villages because of the traditional lifestyle and the common concepts about villages.

During the meeting, they discussed the collaboration relations between the representative and the center especially in establishing the visual Palestinian Archive and the experts and academic mobility in this field. Also the student mobility was discussed especially related to the postgraduate students from the Conflict Resolution and the Intercultural Communication programs.
